          Mechanical Drafter / Designer

          Immediate contract opportunity available for a Mechanical Drafter / Designer. Responsibilities include creating detail, layout, and assembly drawings of machinery and components; and assist in the preparation of engineering change notices.

          This position requires the ability to assist in the development of solutions for new applications, and update current product lines with consideration of aesthetics, cost, reliability and function. Regular interaction with Vendors, Machine Shop, Manufacturing Engineering, Inspection, Planning, Customer Service, and Purchasing Departments.
          Requirements:
          Mechanical Drafter / Designer

          Requirements include:

          * AS degree or equivalent experience
          * Solidworks or other 3-D CAD experience
          * 2+ years of drafting / design experience
          * Knowledge of automated machinery is a plus
