Position Title: JV Volleyball Coach
Department: Athletics
Supervisor: Athletics Director
Summary of Position:
AIB College of Business is seeking to fill the position of JV Volleyball Coach for an NAIA volleyball program. This will be a four-month part-time volunteer position that includes a monthly stipend.
This individual will be responsible for developing the junior varsity volleyball team using the system and guidelines established by the head and assistant head coaches.
Essential Functions:
Other responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
* Assisting the head and assistant head coach in recruiting high level student-athletes who demonstrate both the academic and athletic skills necessary to be successful at AIB College of Business, in addition to being outstanding citizens.
* Assisting the athletic department with the successful monitoring of study tables for student-athletes.
* Assisting the head and associate head coach with
* Practice and game coaching.
* Pre-game strategy.
* Computerized film breakdown of opponents.
* Creation of effective scouting report.
Qualifications:
Candidates will possess the following:
* Bachelor’s Degree
* Experience coaching college-aged players preferred but not required.
* Extensive recruiting network with a proven ability to recruit top quality student-athletes.
* Clean driving record and be able to pass Iowa’s chauffeur license driving test.
