Manage and implement all Command and Control Mission System configuration management activities to ensure systems architectures, hardware, and applications are tracked, implemented as designed, and properly documented in accordance with the SOF Air Mission Suite (SAMS) configuration management process and associated systems of record processes to manage and support the configurations of SAMS-C2 server, SAMS-C2 client, SAMS-ESA client, SAMS-TGGRS, SAMS-COOP, and the AOC weapon systems.
- Operate and manage the SAMS configuration management Process, including monthly planned configuration boards, and hosting out-of-cycle boards. Establish tracking plans, milestones, collaborate with stakeholders, document meetings and actions, and recommend future goals and efforts.
- Establish a hardware, software, and systems of interest master tracking lists to include names, descriptions, sources, framework, license, and other associated information. Automated tools may be used to enable tracking.
?Create and Maintain project Configuration Management (CM) Plans
?Create CMMI L3 compliant process assets
?Adapt process to fit specific project needs
?Perform CM processes and procedures as defined in project plans
?Perform CM planning activities.
?Ensure approved CM policies, processes and procedures are being followed.
?Perform baseline activities as defined in the CM Plan and project schedule
?Perform baseline audit activities as defined in CM Plan and project schedule
?Creation of products from the baseline library.
?Conduct Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings.
?Maintain the software baseline library.
?Administer the configuration management tools.
?Design, configure and implement solutions in Subversion, TeamTrack, Hudson, Maven and other SCM Tools
?Develop project CM documentation and training material.
?Provide training information for project staff on CM practices, and Tools
?Work closely with affected groups and individuals to improve and further automate the CM processes and procedures in use.
?Review and provide recommendations with respect to project plans and related work products
?Minimum three years of experience in a software development workplace. Configuration management specialist or Build/Release Lead experience preferred
?Minimum five years of general experience with configuration control in a CMM/CMMI L3 equivalent or higher accredited organization
?Experience supporting CM tools including change management systems, asset repositories, automated build and deployment systems.
?Experience with Serena TeamTrack/Business Mash-ups, Microsoft TFS, Subversion, Hudson, Maven preferred.
?Demonstrated experience with large-scale software development efforts
?Demonstrated knowledge of security as it relates to software development
?Bachelors' Degree or higher from an accredited college or university. Degrees in computer science or information systems management preferred
5-8 years of directly related experience in systems administration and analysis.
